    1. How do I join and order food from Fresh n Local?

      Sign-up and ordering information can be found on our How It Works page.

    2. What is the Carbon Offset fee?

      Fresh n Local believes in green business and aims to be carbon neutral. An additional $.20 is applied to every delivery and the money donated to Planetair.ca in order to minimise our carbon footprint.

    1. Where does Fresh n Local source its food?

      All of our food is locally sourced, organic and/or fairly traded. Our present suppliers include Bedard Creek Acres, Choo-it, Churchill Fisheries, Clear Creek Organics, Cool Springs Ranch, Earth Bound Bakery and Deli, Floating Gardens, Grandora Gardens, Hestia Organics, Legacy Yogurt, Leven's Coffee Company, Museo Coffee Roasters, Living Soil Farms, Northern Vigor Berries, Orchard Del Sol, Parenteau's Gourmet Foods, Pineview Farms, Prairie Sun Orchard, Three Farmers, Wally's Urban Market Garden and Willow Creek Organic Grain Co. We are sure to be adding more suppliers as we grow, so check our Suppliers Page for more information

  3. Payment

    1. Who processes my payment?

      All payments are process by 2Checkout. Regardless of how you pay, Fresh n Local values your privacy and your information will never be shared with any other parties at any time, for any reason. For more information about 2Checkout, visit their website.

  4. Delivery

    1. When does Fresh n Local deliver?

      Fresh n Local delivers the day after you order. Delivery is between 6pm and 9pm.

    2. When do I have to submit my order to receive it during the Wednesday delivery period?

      Orders must be submitted by 10:00pm the day before you would like your order delivered.

    3. Can I cancel my existing order with Fresh n Local?

      Cancellations must be made before 10:00 pm on the same day you placed the order. Changes or cancellations made after this time will result in a $10 fee.

    4. What if I am not home during a Fresh n Local delivery?

      Not a problem! If you are not going to be home during a planned Fresh n Local delivery, the delivery driver can leave your groceries on your doorstep or any other specified location. Contact us for more information.

    5. Can I pick up my order?

      Sorry; at this time, Fresh n Local does not offer pick-up services.

    6. How much is Fresh n Local's delivery charge?

      Delivery costs $6 for orders under $50. For any order above $50, delivery is free.

    7. What kind of containers is my order delivered in?

      Your order is delivered in responsibly-sourced containers. The temperature-sensitive items are delivered in coolers composed of 70% recycled cardboard, which are 95% recyclable. The non-temperature-sensitive items are delivered in containers made of 70% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful lives.
